  • Vinca Snapshot Server is module that attaches to the main Standby Server modules. Snapshot Server at designated time takes a picture of the production volume and rights the image to a utility volume. After the "SNAP" has been taken then administrator can the backup from that without disturbing the users in the middle of the day or at any time the he/she wants to make a backup. Vinca Snapshot Server is not a replacement of your normal every day tape backup system.
