Product Overview:
TELEform®
How does TELEform work?
Design a form
Distribute the forms by hand, mail, FAX, Internet or modem.
Recipients complete the form, it is entered into the PC via FAX, modem, Internet or scanner.
Data on the forms is automatically real by TELEform.
Miss marked or illegible data is held for verification (these forms are held for review.)
TELEform Components:
TELEform consists of three modules with separate icons.
Each of the modules provides a distinct function in TELEform as outlines below.
TELEform Designer
The TELEform Designer is the primary utility. From Designer you can:
TELEform Reader
The TELEform Reader generally runs minimized in the background and is responsible for detecting and interpreting incoming faxes and scanned images.
TELEform
The TELEform Verifier is where forms that were marked for review during interpretation can be quickly corrected and/or verified. What TELEform does with the returned information depends on the form attributes and the export settings specified when the original form was designed. The Verifier is also used to archive form images.
The TELEform verified dialogue box list forms that have been received. Each form is listed with data and time of receipt. Statistical information regarding the returned forms is shown in the stats box.
Data Collection Options
The TELEform Designer creates alphabetic and numeric constrained print fields, choice field, image zones, circled mark response and entry fields (examples below.)
These fields are created in a standard format for optimal data recognition. However, they provide flexibility to ensure forms look professional and are easy to complete. When a form is designed, the user defines how the data in the fields will be validated and how they will be stored when the form is processed.
Choice Fields
Choice fields are used to create multiple choice questions. The user responds to the question by filling in the bubble that corresponds to the answer.
Entry Fields
Entry fields are used to collect numeric or string data. The space in which the user writes a response is presented as a set of bubbles arranged into rows or columns.
Constrained Print Field
Constrained print fields are used to collect data in which the range of allowable characters makes an entry filed inconvenient. However, if you have room on your form, use an entry field for better accuracy.
